The people who run Newton's are very nice and willing to discuss any issues in a clear, informative way. However, they have failed to fix what's wrong with two cars on two occasions. After a bill for over $300 my car still rattled. After a $400 bill, my husband's wheels still made sounds and clicked when driving. They have failed to identify things that were easily spotted by other mechanics. They charge $120 to inspect a car, and give a full report whether or not it's needed. The dealership doesn't charge that much. On top of that, after telling me my brakes were fine, a month later, I'm getting my brake pads and rotors replaced because of severe wear that certainly didn't occur over the course of a month. I really can't recommend this place. I've given them repeated business and they've failed to deliver.
Hi Hannah, this is Greg Newton. I am the one that helped you with your Subaru on the day that you came in on 4/29/21. I do remember after you left, several weeks later, you called to say that you were still hearing rattling. I did at that time offer to inspect/repair the problem at no charge for you. I'm sorry that for whatever reason you chose not to let me help you. Anytime that there is an issue with our repairs and/or service, I am more than willing to stand behind my shops name and make it right. That offer still stands. I wish you the best in the future and I hope you find another shop that meets your needs.
